Lake Osprey RV Resort - Elberta, AL - We bought our 2nd RV Lot

Today Christie and I wanted to talk about the location of our second RV lot. This time, it's closer to the East Coast, in the area near Mobile, Pensacola, and Gulf Shores AL. This beautiful park is an individual owner RV Resort that's actually deeded as buildable lots in a neighborhood. Probably about half of the owners have a structure on the property in the form of a 1-bedroom house and they range from 600-ish sq ft up to 1200 sq ft.

Our lot is 44' x 88' but a trapezoid since it's angled to match our RV pad. The pads are all 16' wide and about 75' long and are paved as are all interior streets. Some of the lots (as of this video are selling for $99k and some premium buildable lots go for up to $178k. Our lot is across the street from the pond but backs up to the wall for great privacy and protection from the North wind.

Lake Osprey is also not a 55+ park like some are - all ages are welcome, but most of the folks here are older adults without small children.

Elberta is a nice small town roughly equidistant from Foley, AL and Pensacola FL. Both are about 15 mins away by car. With amazing white-sand beaches less than 1/2 hr from the park, it's tough to beat the small-town charm and the amazing amenities this park offers. Without a doubt it's the nicest park we've been to in this area.
