Fascinated by the idea of combining the sounds and traditions of classical Indian ragas with western classical music, pianist Lisa Maria Schachtschneider, sitarist Rohan Dasgupta and the tabla artist and composer Udai Mazumdar joined forces to create a completely new listening experience creating the "Trio One World". The name of the trio stands for a fusion of Western and Eastern instruments, the collaboration of musicians from different continents and the awareness of a global sense of togetherness and shared global responsibility.
