When Letty dies, Dom is devastated. Brian tries to be there to help pick up the pieces, but Dom is so focused on Brian being a cop to let him. When visiting the site of Letty's accident, he's reminded of another accident. He realizes that Brian has always been there for him, and slowly tries to let the other man back into his life. Pretty sure it was a success. ;)
