He has been featured in Vogue Magazine as the "best blonder in the business" and rose to fame as the on-camera hairstylist for ABC's 'Extreme Makeover'. Kim has also been a color judge on Bravo's 'Shear Genius' and a hair stylist for Access Hollywood's "Makeover Mondays".

Kim has worked with many A-list celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kate Hudson, and Paris & Nicky Hilton. Despite his legendary success, Kim remains humble and true to his roots. He can be found either working on his haircare product line or in his namesake salon in West Hollywood, where he chats with his clients and skillfully navigates their hair to achieve their desired look.

Kim's longtime clients, some of whom have been loyal to him for 20 years, flock to him not just for his talent but also for his humble warmth. He treats each person as family, creating a welcoming and familial atmosphere in his salon. Kim's flagship salon in West Hollywood was created with partner celebrity fashion stylist Adeel Khan, and his team of skilled stylists and staff have been hand-chosen for their unique techniques that complement the "Kim Vo" experience.
