Sabrina in Paris: Journey of the Rose

This film is an artistic impression of Sabrina’s reflections on the ambience of Paris. After receiving her diploma from Le Cordon Bleu, Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn), writes a letter to her father. That night, she hears Edith Piaf’s La Vie en Rose playing outside the doors of her balcony. At this moment, Sabrina expresses her view of the world in the famous Paris letter to her father, “I have learned to live … and not just stand aside and watch.”

The haunting music of La Vie en Rose was also written and performed by Edith Piaf, who gained prominence in France and is acclaimed as its most popular singer.
