Best Pop Filter for SM7b? | IsoPop Broadcast Review & Test (ft. Shure SM7b, RE20, LS-208)

Do you suffer from terrible plosives on your broadcast style end address mic? WELL, I may have the solution for you! In this video I go over the IsoVox IsoPop Broadcast Premium Pop Filter that is designed to fit on end address mics 3/4in to 2.36in in diameter (roughly the SM57 to the Samson Q9U). This pop filter is a cool idea! I have seen some similar concepts to it, but this one is a bit unique so I wanted to check it out!

I compare this to the windscreens that come with the Shure SM7b and also the Hakan P110 Pop Filter (at the end I ask compare it to some cheaper options... timestamps below). The concept behind this, I assume, is that it is small like a windscreen but more effective and transparent sounding like a pop filter.

I put the IsoPop Broadcast on the SM7b, RE20, and Lauten Audio LS-208 (I show clips of it on several other mics for reference). The price is what had me a bit concerned.... It isn't OVERLY pricy for something like this, but to a to of people they feel like it might be too expensive. Only you can decide what will work for you and what fits your budget!
