2nd half, Girvan Youth v TASS 2009, 1st September 2024

A good 2nd half for the spectators with yellow cards, individual battles, plenty of goals, free kicks, offsides, penalty shout, defending, saves, midfield buildups. With both teams looking to win this match we were soon into watching a good half. TASS managed to take the lead when a Liam Robertson free kick sent into the box for Finley Shanks to flick over the keeper into the net to make the score 1-2. A few minutes later Girvan were soon on the attack & a lobbed shot from outside the box went over Josh and into the net to make the score 2-2. Play went from end to end as both teams pressed on. Girvan yellow card gave TASS a free kick which Liam sent to Stephen who passed to Finley Shanks who was there to sweep the ball past the keeper & into the net to make it 2-3. Again both teams playing good attacking football with keepers & defences staying strong. TASS increased the scoring when Kian dribbled to the bye line sent the ball into the box where Jamie McQuade was there to slot the ball home to give TASS a 2-4 lead. Liam was booked & from the free kick Girvan scored to make it 3-4. Girvan No 10 next to receive a yellow card. Another free kick given away by TASS which again Girvan scored from to make the full time score 4-4.
