My first military surplus rifle purchased many years ago. It is an Izhevsk stamped 1943. It is in very good condition so I do not believe it saw much action. I replaced the firing pin spring with one manufactured by Drex Outdoors to improve the stiff bolt.
I'm no expert so the quality of this video may not be the best.
