Glowforge Tutorial: When to Remove the Crumb Tray (and how all of that works)

If you're a new Glowforge owner, you probably know that you have to remove your crumb tray to engrave thicker items, but you may not understand when or why and how all of that works.

In this short tutorial, I'll teach you the basic concepts of how the laser is working, why you need to remove the crumb tray, and how high you need to raise your material for it to work correctly.
