MEKNES MOROCCO in 24 Hours 🇲🇦 Morocco Travel Vlog

Mor Acro leaves Casablanca and heads east to Meknes Morocco, a city that is overlooked by it’s neighbour Fes as a tourist destination in Morocco. In this Morocco travel Vlog we arrive to Meknes and find our beautiful Riad D’Or, our home for the night. After arriving to some Moroccan tea and cookies we go to get lost in the Souk and medina of Meknes. We find lots of Moroccan clothes and handicrafts for sale and make our way to the main plaza of Meknes. We were sad to find it under construction along with famous door of Meknes. We enjoy corn on the cob and are reminded of Marrakech as snakes and monkeys are used as lures to entice your attention. We make our way to a horse carriage ride, similar to in Marrakech and we’re promised a grand tour of Meknes for 120 Dh for 45 minutes. The driver sped through the tour, shouting in Moroccan Darija and completed the tour in just 22 minutes. Not Acro family then enjoys the park of Meknes before settling into dinner of tajine Kefta and lamb prion tajine with zaalouk as a starter. We retire for the night and wake up for a nice Moroccan breakfast. We enjoy the pool at Riad D’Or as it was heated and we could enjoy the views of Meknes from up there. Sadly it was a short trip as we pack our things and retreat to the mountains to slow things down for a few days. Thanks for watching Mor Acro.
