04. 징소리가 부르는 춤 '細腰鼓別曲(세요고별곡)'
설장구춤 가락의 기본 틀은 양도일(梁道一, 1907~1979)의 장구가락에서 비롯되었다. 양도일은 중요무형문화재 제3호 남사당놀이 중 꼭두각시놀음의 산받이 소리와 장구 예능보유자(1968년 지정)였다. 장단은 휘모리-오방진(동살풀이)-굿거리-삼채(자진모리)-휘모리로 편성되어 있어, 장단의 긴장과 이완을 즐길 수 있도록 안배하였다.

04. The Gong that Calls a Dance (Seyogobyeolgok)
Seoljangguchum literally means the dance of a small hourglass drum and therefore, is closely related to the rhythms of the drum. The basic frame of the dance and rhythms originate from the drum music of the late Master Yang Do-il (梁道一, 1907~1979). The music of this drum dance is composed of multiple rhythmic patterns including hwimori, obangjin (dongsalpuri), gutgeori, samchae (jajinmori), and Hwimori, creating tension and releasing it in the dance.
