Trinamool Congress on Sunday urged the Centre to make Samajwadi Party's Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the sources told India Today. Awadhesh recently won the Lok Sabha elections from the Faizabad constituency, in which Ayodhya is located. Until now, the centre has not released the schedule for the election of Deputy Speaker, a post that remained vacant during the 17th Lok Sabha.
