Indian Air Force- AGNIVEER NON-COMBATANT UNDER AGNIPATH SCHEME -Notification Released.

Information contained in this document is for reference of candidates who are desirous
of applying for selection as “Agniveervayu Non-Combatant” in intake 01/2025, under
Agnipath scheme. Detailed information on eligibility criteria, job profile, procedure to apply,
terms & conditions of service and sequence of examination is provided under respective
sections in this Brochure. Candidates are required to thoroughly familiarize themselves with
the information contained in this Brochure, prior to filling application form for selection as
Agniveervayu Non-Combatants. Blank application and other required forms, together with
detailed instructions on how to fill the application form, are available in sub-tab “Application
Forms”,

Age.
(a)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Date of Birth Block. Candidate born between 02 Jan 2004 and 02 Jul 2007
(both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
(b)
In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the
upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Marital Status. Only unmarried male candidates will be eligible for enrolment as
Agniveervayu Non-Combatant and they shall undertake not to marry during the defined
engagement period of four years.
Educational Qualification. Candidates should have passed Matriculation /
Equivalent examination from “Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT as on
date of registration shall only be considered”.

Mandatory Medical Standards. General Medical Standards for Agniveervayu
Non-Combatant are as follows: -

Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Vision requirements as applicable as per Indian Air Force standards.
Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper
from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(f)
Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum
14 dental points.
Agniveer Skill Certificate.
At the end of engagement period, a detailed
Skill-Set certificate will be provided to the Agniveervayu Non-Combatant, highlighting the
skills and level of competency acquired by them during their engagement period.

Personnel enrolled under this Scheme will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen status.
