Work continues on the Gilbert Road Bridge at an accelerated schedule with a goal of reopening travel over the Salt River in Summer 2024 in Mesa, Arizona. Archer Western crews are seen making preparations in advance of pouring the new deck this spring.

The $50.3 million bridge will replace the existing two-lane structure and low water crossing which had become flooded during high water flows in the Salt River.
