Descanso Gardens Garden Railroad

Descanso Gardens is a 150 acre botanical garden located in La Canada Flintridge, California.

The gardens has had a ride on Enchanted Railway since 1994 that uses a small diesel train to circle a portion of the gardens. Now they have added a Garden Railroad near the ride on train. The garden railroad uses G-Gauge trains on several tracks. They are using G scale USA trains manufactured by the Charles Ro Manufacturing Company.

The trains are a great addition to the gardens and they are surrounded by replica wooden train stations from around the country. Coupled together with the stations, trees, and small plants the area is a model railroad dream come true.

Descanso Gardens is open 7 days a week from 9am-7pm
Descanso Gardens is located at 1418 Descanso Drive in La Canada Flintridge, California.

Parking is free

General Admission is $15 for adults with seniors and students being $11.
