I've been a big Babolat fan because I wear Babolat Jet Mach 3s and have used their tennis racquets in the past, so that sparked my interest when they released their new line of paddles.

Babolat brings us three uniquely shaped thermoformed unibody paddles with perimeter edge foam. They are all edgeless and have premium handles that are 4.0". They were going for a control paddles, an all-court paddle and a power paddle. I think they did well with the first two but the power paddle is not there. I like that they are trying new shapes, but we are talking about very high prices for paint grit paddles. They have made a step in the right direction and I am curious what they will do next.
