Toshi and Sean Nelson New London Big Band pre-concert chat

Music Director & Conductor of the ECSO, Toshiyuki Shimada and New London Big Band's leader Sean Nelson met via Zoom to discuss the collaborative approach to the upcoming concert on Saturday, January 21 at the Garde Arts Center. This concert is an encore of sorts after the crowd-pleasing concert in February 2020.

They discuss what brought Sean Nelson to the region, his exciting news about helping establish the military theme for the Space Force, as well as the diverse program that's on deck for the concert.
