This allows #operators time to make necessary process corrections before a fail condition.
The SpectraTrend HT knows when a sample is present, and only #reports measurement data for sample measurements, not data from gaps or conveyor belts, so data results are never erroneous.
SpectraTrend HT #continuously measures the product color and compares each measurement to preset color standards having predetermined color specifications and color tolerances, providing immediate detailed results through the entire production process.
Pass/warning/fail results are sent to the stack light for visual indication of real-time color status, in this case showing a ‘green’ light, indicating color is within pre-determined specifications. Audible alerts can also be integrated using the 4-channel outputs.
Upper and lower warning limits can be set in the #instrument #software to give early warning of color drift indicated by the orange light​
This early warning allows for operator intervention to correct color drift before a fail condition.
The stack light will change to red if color drifts out of color specifications, allowing operators to quarantine the product until corrective action can be taken and color is brought back into specifications.
