SMU head coach Rhett Lashlee spoke for the first time at ACC Kickoff and acknowledged that he realizes that there will be changes for his program as they step up in weight class by joining the ACC. He also said that he's confident that his veteran team will compete and he's looking forward to a quick measuring stick as the Mustangs face off with the two teams that played in the ACC title game last season as SMU takes on Florida State and Louisville in back-to-back games when they start conference season.
