Have two 7x10 Mini Lathes from Harbor freight. The first died when it cooked its electronics. The second one I bought from somebody because... You guessed it! DEAD ELECTRONICS!!!! Instead of purchasing a replacement, which we all know is going to die anyway, I decided to use one of my designs, a PAC5556 reference design board which employs the much more reliable Silicon Carbide MOSFETs. Although still a work in progress, chips have been made, officially taking the mini lathe back to resurrected status!
