Here is a note for note play through of the classic Bernard Edwards bass line from chic. This Chic Cheer bass cover is played note for note as Bernard Edwards played on the record. I have included the Bass Guitar Tabs in the video so you can see how the notation relates to the track and how i play the bass line. This is a classic Disco Bassline with that funky vibe, you might also recognise the bassline which was sampled by Fatman Scoop back in the naughties. This bassline was played on a Marcus miller Fender Jazz signature bass (made in Japan). Recorded Direct into the Universal Audio Apollo with the addition of the Eden plugin to give that deep gritty tone.
