We invited acclaimed drummer Bea Lao (Wally Gonzalez, General Luna, Fuseboxx) to play a Gretsch Catalina Maple 7-piece drum set. For her improvised playthrough, Bea says she was responding to how the drums were tuned and alternated between grooves and melodic drumming.

The performance was held in the Lyric Horseshoe conference room. Drum audio was captured with a Yamaha EAD and a single overhead MXL condenser mic.
