During the month of July and August, many juvenile Mangrove Snappers gather outside fish farm outlets and small creeks(mostly during new moon and full moon). As strong outgoing tides push bait fish like shrimps, small barbs and other bait fish, these snappers wait in ambush near rocks feeding as much as they can on these bait fish as they pass by before moving to deeper waters.
