Crinkles are easy to make. A mixer is not required. You can mix with a rubber scraper or wooden spoon. In this tutorial, I showed you different versions aside from the classic chocolate crinkles. And don’t miss the part in the video wherein I showed you the trick on how to make sure that the powdered sugar stays on your crinkles once they are baked. Bake these with your kids and make this a great bonding experience with them.

Chef's Notes:
1:05 - You also need Powdered or Confectioner's Sugar.

If the crinkle flattens after you bake it, you probably over mixed it or your kitchen is too warm. I suggest you bake one piece first to make a test. If it comes out okay, then continue baking the rest. If the crinkle flattens, then chill the dough for 1 hour before baking. Remember to roll the crinkle in sugar ONLY when you are ready to bake. Do not roll in sugar and chill. The sugar will melt.
