Kuranda Scenic Skyrail & Railway - Is It Worth It? (4K, Insta360 X3)

In early April 2024, we had the opportunity to ride the Kuranda Skyrail (Gondola) through the rainforest with flight-like views of beautiful Barron Falls. After visiting the Australian town of Kuranda which included markets with shopping and dining, Koala bear gardens, butterfly sanctuary and a bird world, we took the scenic train back to the valley with even more spectacular views of Barron Falls, a view of our train as it crossed a bridge at Stoney Creek Falls (one of 55 bridges) the narrow gauge railway crossed on our 15.7 mile journey that also included going through 15 hand dug tunnels.

Come along with us on this excursion we did out of Yorkeys Knob during our Majestic Princess Queensland cruise, but is also possible from Cairns cruise port.
