One of the best ways to get perspective on what you want and to plan your own dreams is to work with someone who will ask you questions that you don’t ask yourself.

A few steps to get started:

Write down: What do you really want?

Then ask yourself: Why do I want this?

This is not to justify it to yourself, but to do a gut check on if it’s something you really want vs what you think you should want based on what others expect of you.

The things you are exposing yourself to influence what you think you want. Make sure you are not just being influenced into thinking you want something that is not really your dream. Really dig into your “why” behind what you write down as a dream.
