WNBA fans call for an ESPN boycott after an analyst's divisive comments about Caitlin Clark.

In response to an analyst's recent Caitlin Clark remark, WNBA fans have demanded a boycott of ESPN.

This week, Carolyn Peck infuriated some WNBA fans by asserting that the Indiana Fever perform better when Clark is not in their starting lineup.
After Clark's teammates defeated the Las Vegas Aces 81-54 while she was sitting on the sidelines due to a groin ailment, she made the accusation.

"I believe that Indiana is even more dangerous when Caitlin Clark isn't playing," Peck said.

She is a guard who dominates the ball.

"The ball is in her hands a lot, so you know what you need to try to take away."

A video of her audacious opinion went viral on social media, angering Clark's burgeoning fan base.

One person commented on X, saying, "ESPN's crazy narrative continues."

"Crazy levels of hate for the person who brought the WNBA to relevancy," another person said.

Another person added: "Dude, who watches ESPN?

"Boycott that useless network."

Someone said: "We gotta stop letting some people talk about basketball."
Peck has not yet addressed the criticism directed to her Clark allegation.

Although Peck's remarks may have annoyed the Clark fan club, they do have some merit.

In the eight games the former University of Iowa standout has played this season, the Fever are 4-4.

The squad has a slightly better record—5–4—without her in the starting five.

When the Fever play the Los Angeles Sparks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday night, Clark may make his court comeback.
