Here's how to set up a stream delay within Streamlabs OBS or OBS Studio. The same thing can also be done via XSplit, OBS.live and other broadcasting or streaming software!

If you need to have a delay on your stream to Twitch, YouTube Gaming or Facebook Gaming, then you can use Stream Delay function within your streaming software to enable this. Typically people set up a 30-60 second time delay for their stream and it's normally to avoid stream snipers, or something similar, but there are loads of other applications that a stream delay might be useful for.

You just need to consider that having a stream delay will mean that you chat responses will be delayed and your interaction with viewers will have a longer latency / delay.

In this video I also show the Preserve Cut Off function which can be used to reduce the effects of stream cut offs and disconnections!
