Collaboration is key to sustainability. Community buy-in is important to ensure long-term survival of projects, as they take over in the absence of NGOs. Government partnerships and capacity building across the value chain is also a key strategy to sustainable interventions.
To ensure growth does not come at the cost if quality, panellists spoke of the importance of internal audit processes, partnerships with government bodies, as well as robust documentation and sharing of key learnings across all stakeholders.
