Bread Malai Roll:
Ingredients for rabri milk:
Milk 3 cup
Sugar 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Saffron milk 2 tbsp
Almonds (chopped) 1 tbsp
Pistachio (chopped) 1 tbsp
Cream 1/4 cup
Ingredients for khoya preparation:
Milk 1 cup
Milk powder 1 ½ cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 ½ tbsp
Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Ingredients for malai:
Cream ½ cup
Cashew nuts (chopped) 1 tbsp
Almonds 1 tbsp
Pistachios 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Assembling:
Bread (as required)
Pistachios (as required)
Red cherries (as required)
Saffron milk (as required)
Prepared khoya (as required)
Malai (as required)
Rabri milk (as required)
Directions for rabri milk:
In a pan add milk and bring it to boil and add sugar cardamom powder, saffron milk, almonds, pistachios and cream.
Mix continuously and cook until it reduced to half of the original quantity. Set aside.
Directions for khoya:
Now in another pan add milk, milk powder and mix until no lumps are remaining without turning on the flame.Then turn on the flame and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Then add butter, sugar and cardamom powder, cream and cook it continuously until it becomes thickened.
Directions for malai:
Now in a small bowl add cream, cashew nuts, almonds and pistachios.
Mix it well, your malai is ready. Now keep it aside.
Assembling:
Take a slice of fresh bread and cut off the sides and roll it out into a thin sheet.
Now spread the prepared malai evenly on one side of the bread.
Take khoya and form it into a shape of round cylinder shape.
Now put it on one end of the slice and roll it in a form of roll.
Lastly place them in a tray and put rabri milk and garnish with pistachios cherries and saffron milk.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 50 minutes
Serving: 4-5
