In this video I repair a 42 year old Digital Multimeter. This is an HP 3466A 4.5 digit from 1979 but is quite full-featured, and has some nice low measurement ranges. The HP 3466A is the big brother of the 3.5 digit HP3435A. I hope this helps anyone else trying to repair this or other similar products.
In Part 2, I plan to upgrade the old Sealed Lead Acid battery to a modern Lithium battery.
