3. now you have to apply for e-passport online
https://emrtds.nepalpassport.gov.np .click on the address which will lead you to the website and apply for it via mobile which you can save 3000 rupees. and take the appointment date . get. a printout and go to department of passport on given appointment date.
4. now if you are making new passport, above documents are are enough.
5. if you want to renew passport you must have photocopy of old passport and real passport which will cost you Rs. 12000.
6. if your passport is lost then you should follow above process but you don't need real passport. and it may cost you Rs 17000.
after having all these documents go to department of passport on your appointment date .you will pass through various steps like

voucher deposit
biometric
