Wandering Foxbat - Emu Bay Railway - Burnie to Rosebery

Описание к видео Wandering Foxbat - Emu Bay Railway - Burnie to Rosebery

Aerial video following the Emu Bay Railway from the port of Burnie, south across the agricultural hinterland and the vast timber plantations of the Surrey Hills plateau, to descend through the West Coast rainforests to the Rosebery Mine. This line is only used to haul zinc-lead-copper concentrates to the port for further shipment. Up till 1963 when the highway was opened, this line provided the only link from the NW Coast to the various West Coast mines.
