The Crunchy to Alt-Right Pipeline

For years there has been a noticeable shift in the wellness community online, also commonly known as “crunchy” or “granola” lifestyles. These lifestyles evolved off of the backbone of the hippie movement which was known for being quite progressive for their time, so how did this community go from protesting war to being anti-vax and staunchly republican? Today, we will be examining how someone could end up falling down the “crunchy to alt-right pipeline” and more than that, how naturalist lifestyles have been historically linked with extremist ideologies.
