As a pure definition, this is what early and developmental trauma is:
Relational wounds and ruptures in safety that occur during early life and during important developmental stages. Early trauma is generally thought of as In Utero - 3 yrs old. Developmental trauma could include teenage years as well. Essentially early and developmental trauma means not getting enough of the good stuff, and also sometimes getting bad stuff on top of that.
