I said "male-bodied" and "female-bodied" because I was trying to come up with terminology that would describe people whose development followed a binary pathway, but realized later how awful and transphobic that sounded. I'm so sorry! I think in the future I might just say "cis-female" and "cis-male" but if you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments below. Unfortunately all the language about bodies was created without the inclusion of intersex people or others who don't fit the binary (like trans or non-binary people). I'd like to address this all in a video about language in the future, I'll link to it here when it's up!! XOXY

Happy Intersex Awareness Day!!!! Today let me tell you about what it's like to be insensitive to androgens. This is my specific intersex variation, so I obviously have a lot of experience talking about this - but this is simply my own personal experience dealing with CAIS. This video was already long enough so I didn't get to talk about surgery, but I will be doing that in my next video! Thank you so much for watching!!
