Using a MICROSCOPE to fix a £1.4k Nakamichi CR-3E Cassette Deck

£550 in 1988 - with inflation this deck would be the equivalent of £1.4 in todays money. Wild!

Join me today as i attempt to repair the Bias Oscillator on this Nakamichi CR3E Cassette deck. The symptoms were that the recording would drop out at random intervals when recording - not picked up immediately as during the quick recording test.. it worked!

I used my digital microscope and some very careful micro soldering to achieve the fix!
