Chapter 12: Bitter Intrigue

On our way back to the nohrian capital, we're ordered by the king to rest up at a palace in Macarath. But a sudden illness AND hoshidan army won't make this relaxation easy for us. Especially since they're led by Ryoma.

This map is very tight! You have a time limit to either kill Ryoma or have your avatar escape. You must use the medicine pots to your advantage as you quickly work your way through the map and use the Dragon Vein in the middle if you want to get Ryoma really fast. To take him on, use the Enfeeble staff we got last time and have Effie or Camilla with the Dual Club deal with him. Don't forget the chests!

New Units:

- Laslow: A mercenary of unknown origins now serving prince Xander. A friendly flirt, but actually quite shy! And sadly, slow. Just like other units, his spd is his Aquiles heel, as he has very good hp, str, skl and lck, but low spd. His def isn't bad, either. He could be good as an attack stance partner, with how strong he can get, and his pair up stats as a mercenary are pretty good. His personal skill buffs nearby allies's str and spd, but you should have Azura's lv 10 skill by now, so it's not that useful.

- Peri: A nohrian noble now serving prince Xander. Spoiled by her wealthy family, she’s childish and a crybaby. Not the best of characters, but a very solid unit. Good str and spd and a personal skill that buffs her each time she kills an enemy. She's a bit frail, though.
