Carmela Soprano is a fascinating character and the wife of Tony Soprano on HBO’s original TV series The Sopranos, created by David Chase. And this video features Carmela Soprano's story illustrated by my favorite scenes along with my thoughts on the overall narrative or Carmela moments I found most significant.

Overall, the talent, raw emotion, and depth that Edie Falco brought to Carmela Soprano's character was nothing short of extraordinary. Of course, she has her faults and her flaws (just like the rest of us), but just like most things on The Sopranos and in real life, it’s complicated. And it’s VERY complicated when you’re the wife of a man who’s high up the chain in the mafia.

These scenes represent the full spectrum of human emotions, and each contains the season and episode number for your reference, along with some of my thoughts on what I find significant or why I enjoy a particular scene. l They're arranged chronologically to best tell Carmela's "story" and illustrate her mindset over the course of the show.
