How to Counter AGGRO - Best Control Deck in LOR ( Gluttony + Anivia ) | Legends of Runeterra

After the Aphelios Expansion, Gluttony Anivia is one of the last surviving Control decks. Control decks are not around as much in the current 2.1.0 patch. In the lower ranks of legends of runeterra, Aggro decks are around every corner because they are by far the best way to climb elo in LOR. The best way to deal with Aggro is AOE board clear and healing cards, which lucky for us, Gluttony Anivia has a TON of. Control can be a bit tricky so if you're struggling with it here are some tips and tricks on how to play Control in LOR. First take your time. Don't be afraid to pass and feel your opponent out. Second, understand dealing Nexus dmg is not how your win the game. Control decks win through burning your opponents resources such as Cards and mana. Anivia is a Freljord Shadow Isle deck and it specializes in dealing with Noxus Aggro style decks. This is by far the best and most fun control deck in the entire game in my opinion. Swim and AlanZQ build their Anivia deck a bit different that i do personally. I enjoy a bit more Harrowing and AOE board clear and they seem to like more combo oriented cards.
