Just as Rasūlullāh (SAW) testified and gave glad tidings to ‘Abd al-Rahmān of Jannah…

Likewise, he testified that he is of the elite and privileged Muslims.

Once, Rasūlullāh (SAW) enquired from the Ṣaḥābah as to who had proposed to Umm Kulthūm bint ʿUqbah and was informed that it was ʿAbd al Rahmān ibn ʿAwf and another person.

Rasūlullāh (SAW) advised, “Marry her to ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn ʿAwf since he is from the cream of the Muslims. And the best Muslims are those similar to him.”
