So I've been using this rotation with my Staff Thief for quite a while now - Raid tested it in every boss but Deimos (I'm forced to do every role but DPS on that :/) and it performs very well;

Out DPS's pugs ~95% of the time (even pretty decent eles).

This rotation doesn't have as much damage as the WC rotation has, but it is very flexible in all fights, allowing your damage to be completely mobile with very high scholar uptime (due to the amount of evades + SoM)

For some examples;
Non-Distort VG, I easily pull ~20k
Gorseval I end with ~24-26k
Sabetha Cannoneer I maintain ~20k
(Inner) Slothasor, ~20k+
Matt (clusterfuck version) ~15k
KC: Highs of 40k+, otherwise maintains ~30-35k
Xera: ~25-30k (need to do more testing, don't get to dps much)
Cairn: Solo capabilities, ~20-25k
Chess: It's a DPS Golem, so what do you expect?
Sam: ~18-20k

While this build is nice to have, it's ultimately beaten by any proficient ele or guardian. That, and if you're doing strats that revolve around out-dpsing mechanics (such as Xera's first phase), there are other builds that are better than this.

But to carry pug / training groups, or to just have a competent, easy, power class? Yes please!

P.S. Something to consider is bringing p/p as your offhand set and start the fight with it; gives you easy might to increase your damage to give your Condi PS's time to get their rotation going (and replacing the might you gave to yourself)

P.S.S. Yes, I know my utility ran out mid fight. Just realized this after I uploaded. Suffice to say damage is slightly higher than what's in the title of the video ;)
