In this episode Hiram, Jaime and joining me as we return from our winter break and start our new season on the Ready Set BBQ podcast. We try something different as we give Jaime a few minutes to rant about the Dallas Cowboys. I'm sure many of the Joe's that listen feel the same way. We then talk about the NFL Playoffs and what happened with Jason Kelce at the Bills vs. Chiefs game. This creates a call back to an earlier episode where we talked about what type of food to eat on a first date. I ask the guys what they think of the WAGs or Wives and Girlfriends of famous athletes.

The PDAP Courage to Change Cook Off is an annual barbecue competition held in Edinburg, Texas on January 27th, 2024. The cookoff is coming up this weekend and we continue to help make it grow. We may even have some live events or some podcast material for next week. I ask the guys to think back on 2023 and tell me what is the best dish they made or had at a restaurant. Seems like the choices are unanimous.

30:00 - 40:00 2024 Goals
We talk about our goals for 2024 and even had the Joe Army chime in on Social Media. Some of the answers are what you would expect. I plan to go to LA which snowballs into a story of when I went on a tequila train in Mexico many moons ago. We bring back the Red Carpet segment as Hiram tells us about the upcoming Oscars and his latest experience at the movies. This somehow leads into talking about exotic types of boots and Jaime wants people to respect his lamb boots once he buys them.
