Cognition embraced itself, but only as an endless abyss gaping in the void inside another endless abyss. And the absence lasted indefinitely, everywhere, always, with only one dimension. Suddenly another dimension appeared, and the ever-lasting ceased to be eternal. In the new dimension, awareness of emptiness recognized itself. Now the awareness of the absence knew that it was aware of itself.
