Circus McGurkus Reopens at Islands of Adventure! Is it Better? Review at Universal Orlando Resort

Circus McGurkus is the signature quick service restaurant found in the Seuss Landing section of Universal's Islands of Adventure park. It's inspired by the Dr. Sues book of the same name and was closed in 2023 for a lengthy refurbishment. After much anticipation, this fun restaurant finally reopened on February 10th, 2024.

This video details our experience on reopening day. The Circus McGurkus menu has changed a bit and we tried out the majority of their new offerings. Along the way we also detail the notable changes to the décor and operations. The new ordering system closely replicates that of the Minion Café which can be found across the promenade over in Universal Studios park. There's even a new quick service window with shaded seating to the right of the formal entrance.

This was Jay's favorite quick service restaurant in Islands of Adventure and our hope was that Universal elevated the menu to match the already fun aesthetic of this incredibly kinetic Circus Tent Dining Hall. See our thoughts, favorites and whether Jay thinks Circus McGurkus is still the best while we try out some Dr. Seuss themed cuisine on a perfect Universal Orlando day.
