In today’s shorts, I’m sharing my first experience with Water Cabbage (Pistia). 🌿
I first saw this beautiful plant at my friend’s house and took some cuttings, but sadly, it just wouldn’t grow in water alone. Even after changing bowls, the growth was stuck. Finally, I tried a mix of soil + vermicompost, and within a week it changed completely — producing so many mini plants! 🌱 In just 3 weeks, my bowl was overflowing with healthy cabbage plants, some even coming out of the bowl.

I even placed a few in my lotus bowl 🌸, but since lotus needs full sun and water cabbage doesn’t, I realized this plant thrives best in the right conditions — not too much sun, not too much shade.
