In yet another step towards unification of like-minded forces in the fight against the BJP at the Centre, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be meeting his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Sunday. Thackeray had recently extended his full support to Chandrashekhar Rao’s fight for the federal justice, denouncing the anti-people policies of the BJP-led Central government.

The meeting gains significance amidst growing dissent among the States ruled by regional parties against the BJP-led union government. Chandrashekhar Rao will take a special chartered flight to Mumbai around 11 am on Sunday. He is scheduled to have a meeting with Uddhav Thackeray at 1 pm. Their meeting agenda comprises discussion on increasing intervention of the Centre in the State affairs against the federal spirit of the nation, efforts for unification of like-minded forces and future course of action.
