I went to the biggest Filipino Festival in the US and this is Sinulog in the US. This is the biggest Filipino Festival in North Carolina. The Sinulog Festival is an annual cultural and religious festival held annually on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City Philippines and also in neighboring provinces in the Visayas region, and in many places in America as the immigrants o the US brought their cultural and religious devotion to Senyor Santo Ninyo. So this festival is celebrated in honor of the Holy Child and the Christianization of the Filipino people. The festival is celebrated with parades, street dancing, fluvial and street processions, novena masses and parties. Here in North Carolina, the Festival is celebrated with the Holy Mass followed by the Sinulog dances and cultural presentation from contingents of the different parts of North Carolina such as Asheville, Charlotte, Sanford, the Philippine American performing arts, and the mainstay the dancers from Raleigh NC or Tribu North Carolina
