Public perception of heritage in Singapore has improved since 2018: Survey

The refreshed heritage masterplan hopes to get more Singaporeans to protect their cultural heritage when it's launched later this year. According to the latest Heritage Awareness Survey, nearly three-quarters of respondents take an active interest to understand the cultural practices of other ethnic groups. It's a jump of 13 percentage points compared to 2018. The National Heritage Board has attributed it to the surge in digital content consumption during the pandemic.
