Jason - "Southern Rocker" Full Album (1999 4-track garbage)

When I posted all my fake albums from all my fake bands a while back I may have told a little lie. I acted like I never tried that until I graduated to higher quality computer based recording. Actually I did do one album on my crappy 4-track. Southern Rocker. And here it is in all it's glory.

Some months after my band Lethargic ended, this guy started talking to me about starting a new band together. He was local but I only knew him online through a metal website I wrote for. He wanted us to start a band that would be a mix of metal, punk and country. I didn't really know exactly what that would sound like it but I played around with some song ideas. Of course, the guy was all talk. He never showed up. Nothing ever happened.

So I decided to make an "album" out of the weird songs I had come up with. I didn't have that many so I tossed in a couple covers and a couple leftover songs that had nothing to do with nothing just to fill it out. (A few of these songs were later re-recorded by my fake band P.F.D.)

Also around this time there was this locally based southern rock band named The Winter Brothers Band who used to record themselves playing these very long concerts in their barn and then air them on our local community access channel in several parts. I used to watch those guys for hours. At the same time I was doing this, they were putting out an album called Southern Rockers. For some reason I thought it would be funny to steal, I mean use, their cover for my dumb album. So I downloaded the cover art from their website and used photoshop to replace their name with mine and then take the S off Rockers. And that's the only reason the album was named Southern Rocker.

This is, of course, a new A.I. cover because A.I. is awesome!!
